An event every day that begins at 4:00 pm, repeating until September 15, 2020
Monday & Tuesday, Sept. 14 & 15, 4–5:30 p.m. [offered again Sept. 28–29]
Kids will spend time in the park and forest, observing nature, and create guided art projects as a response to nature and the outdoors. They will paint a wax-resist wall hanging on fabric canvas material (not artists’ canvas) using oil pastels and liquid watercolor paint. They will make line pattern drawings, utilizing patterns seen in nature, and explore the use of natural items as paintbrushes. Class is taught outdoors, so participants should dress for the weather. Fee includes both days.
