The Institute is partnering with Blue Ridge Summit (BRS) Library in presenting Community Get Outside Day. Scheduled the same week as National Take a Hike Day, the event is designed to inspire appreciation of nature and exercise.
Coordinated by the BRS Library board of directors, outdoor programs will run from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on the trails in Monterey Pass Battlefield Park and Happel’s Meadow Wetland Preserve.
