From Roots to Reels: The Wild Robot

April 4 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Join us for this special showing of The Wild Robot at Waynesboro Theatre!

Families in attendance will receive a free tree seedling from Bartlett Tree Experts (while supplies last).

The Wild Robot is a heartwarming DreamWorks animated film about Roz, a humanoid robot shipwrecked on a remote island, who must adapt to the wild by learning from the local animals and eventually becomes the unlikely adoptive mother to an orphaned gosling named Brightbill.

Directed by Chris Sanders, the movie follows Roz as she evolves from a machine following commands to a creature capable of love and empathy, forming a unique family with the wildlife and finding her place in nature.

All tickets are $7 for Adults and $6 (Kids 12 and under). Children 2 and under are free.

The movie is part of Buttonwood’s Earth Celebration Month activities.

Presented in partnership with Waynesboro Theatre and Rarrick Orthodontics.

Additional support from Buttonwood Nature Center’s Today’s Horizon Fund contributors: The Nora Roberts Foundation; the late Alma W. Oyer; Marge Kiersz; APX Enclosures; Don Gibe and Nancy Erlanson; and the family of the late Carolyn Terry Eddy, with daughters Connie Fleagle & Kim Larkin.
