Afternoon with an Owl

Enjoy an educational and fun visit with a live owl!

This special program features Strix, the Owl Ambassador from Strawberry Hill Nature Preserve, and his handler, Anne Gageby. The event is part of Buttonwood’s Naturalist Discovery Series of programs.

Attendees will get to see Strix up close and learn all about the life of an owl.

Kids will enjoy an owl craft to take home, and receive a free copy of the book “Hoot” by Carl Hiaasen, while supplies last.
