EXPLORE! Gone Squirrelly!

Designed for kids in grades K to 5, the fall EXPLORE! programs will run on four Tuesdays, October 7, 14, 21 and 28. Sessions are after school, from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. Location: Buttonwood Nature Center in Waynesboro.
All program activities are outside, and each week features a different theme. Taught by educators from Buttonwood Nature Center, home of The Institute, programs include educational activities related to the season and theme. Students may attend any or all sessions.
October 7: Gone Squirrelly!
Learn all about an often seen but little understood animal—the squirrel! Participants will learn how squirrels prepare for winter by listening to a story, going for a hike, playing games, and getting squirrelly!
Pre-registration and payment in advance are required.
Fee: $6 per child, per session for member of Buttonwood/The Institute, and $7 per child, per session for the general public.
