Spring Speaker Series #1: Feathers, Fur & Fins: Wildlife and Water Habitats

Winging It Near Water

The first of three programs in our Spring Speaker Series. The programs are free and open to all. 

Presented by Linette Mansberger, nature photographer and board member of South Mountain Audubon Society.

With a photographic presentation, Mansberger will showcase birds that are found near various water habitats in south central Pennsylvania. She will teach about the families of birds that frequent wetlands, ponds, streams, etc, as well as some of the birds’ unique characteristics.

Also included will be a few remarkable birds from water environs around the world.

Linette Mansberger is an amateur photographer who enjoys traveling the world to photograph nature. A retired kindergarten teacher, she uses her images to create and present nature programs for various organizations throughout the state. She is an active member of the South Mountain Audubon Society and serves on its Board of Directors. Mansberger is a retired kindergarten teacher and taught for 33 years in the Spring Grove School District in York County, Pa.
