Summer Saturday: Skull Detectives
Skull Detectives
Pine Hill Recreation Area near Waynesboro, Pa.
Become a skull detective!
You’ll be surprised at what you can learn about animals just by looking at their skull. For example, you can learn about a deer’s role as a prey species, or a coyote’s diet, or even how a beaver makes its lodge.
Grab your magnifying glass as we use our detective skills to identify different animals and their adaptations to their environment.
Family-friendly fun!
This is one of eight different weekly Summer Saturday programs that run from 9–11 a.m. at Pine Hill Recreation Area.
Each week, we will explore a different nature topic as we enjoy the outdoors together.
Sign up for one, several—or all sessions!
Registration is required for these programs. See form below.
The fee for this program is $5 per person, children and adults. Kids age 2 and under are free.
