Summer Saturday: Tracks, Scat, and Signs
Tracks, Scat, and Signs
Pine Hill Recreation Area near Waynesboro, Pa.
Who is walking in the woods?
Learn about different animal tracks, scat, and other signs you might find in the woods.
Then put that knowledge to the test on a hike as we search for evidence of the many critters living at Pine Hill, such as deer, birds, insects, and other critters.
Participants should wear comfortable walking shoes.
Family-friendly fun!
This is one of eight different weekly Summer Saturday programs that run from 9–11 a.m. at Pine Hill Recreation Area.
Each week, we will explore a different nature topic as we enjoy the outdoors together.
Sign up for one, several—or all sessions!
Registration is required for these programs. See form below.
The fee for this program is $5 per person, children and adults. Kids age 2 and under are free.
