Summer Stories 2025
NEW LOCATION FOR 2025! This year we will be at Pine Hill Recreation Area near Waynesboro.
Children gather under a tree in the park to listen to stories and enjoy related hands-on craft or activity.
Free admission.
This year, Summer Stories will be on Tuesdays, June 10, 17, 24 and July 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29 at 10:00 a.m.
The theme for 2025 is “Local Wildlife Tell Their Stories.”
Each book features a different local wildlife species.

July 8: Lisa and Barry Donohoe- Hoot Owl: Master of Disguise by Sean Taylor
July 15: Melodie Anderson-Smith- Elmore by Holly Hobbie
July 22: Lisa and Barry Donohoe- The Box Turtle by Vanessa Roeder
July 29: Mary Claire King- The Birdwatchers by Simon James
