Streams Day Camp 2025–Session Two
Held at Buttonwood Nature Center, Waynesboro, Pa.
Spend the day at Buttonwood learning all about streams!
Participants will have the chance to learn about water birds, collect and study macroinvertebrates, and play in the stream!
Campers should come prepared in weather appropriate clothing that can get wet, closed-toed shoes that can get wet (or a second pair of socks and shoes), and a towel. Bring water, two snacks, and a packed lunch, too.
For students ages 7–12. Camp fee: $50 for members of Buttonwood Nature Center/The Institute, and $55 general public.
There is another Streams Day Camp session on Thursday, August 7. Two sessions of this day camp—essentially the same—are scheduled for Thursdays, August 7 and August 14. Students can sign up for either session, or both if they love playing in the stream!
See information and registration form for Session One on August 7 here.
