Summer Saturday: Pollinator Palooza
Pollinator Palooza
Pine Hill Recreation Area near Waynesboro, Pa.
Join Buttonwood educators as we celebrate the world’s essential pollinators like bees and butterflies.
Pollinators are essential to the survival of all life on Earth; they transfer pollen from one plant to another, allowing the plants to grow seeds, and fruits will grow food and new plants for a healthy ecosystem.
Discover what you can do at home to attract pollinators to your backyard.
Plant some pollinator-friendly plants in a small pot to take home and start your own pollinator garden.
Participants should wear comfortable walking shoes.
Family-friendly fun!
